Job Description

Job Summary

To support production by the timely provision of relevant paperwork and managing of shortages, providing full visibility to both production and logistics of manufacturing and kitting needs.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for internal planning by work centre. Analyse demand and capacity to achieve optimum work centre load
  • Responsible to monitor Production adherence against plan, work closely with Operations team to ensure alignment and execution of plan.
  • Take ownership and drive continuous improvement of internal KPI's, understanding any deviations.
  • Responsible to drive and develop recovery plans within the internal Operational Team where appropriate.
  • Own and manage ERP planning parameters
  • Responsible to confirm MPS/MRP demand in line with Business System.
  • Accountable to coordinate the inputs to Production. To monitor production progress against scheduling and intervene as when required to bring deliveries back in line with schedule
  • Work with Supply Chain on anticipated material availability concerns and ensure internal suppliers maintain continuity of supply.
  • Investigate MPS/MRP anomalies, ascertain root cause and implement corrective actions
  • Monitors and maintain inventory WIP levels on shop floor to ensure alignment with demand.
  • Responsible in the participation of annual Company stock take activities by validating material variances.
  • Actively participates in CI/Lean projects
  • Be involved in planning introduction of new products (NPI), by participating in cross functional meetings.
  • Attend weekly CCB meetings to determine the impact to Production. To action stock dispositions within the Business system taking into consideration, cost implications of rework and resources, whilst ensure MRP demand is accurate.
  • Facilitate daily planning/operational meetings to ensure all issues are communicated and shift changeover take place efficiently.
  • Lead/guide and influence Operational team through data analyse and policing activities.
  • Be responsible for a constant understanding of the status of Production and provide forward vision of capacity constraint and bottlenecks.
  • Ownership of financial and Supply chain KPI's
  • Accountable to monitor part availability through Business systems, to communicate deliverables and flag potential delays to Production schedule.

Essential Criteria

  • Good understanding of MRP and knowledge of principles
  • Experience in Production Scheduling role, within a Manufacturing environment

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4pm, Friday 7:30am - 1pm
